My Thoughts: A great ending to an awesome trilogy. If you've read the first two, this is one definitely not to be missed. 

Wendy has taken her position as a princess very seriously. There is an inevitable war approaching very soon, and Wendy must do everything in her power to stop the war and the Vittra King, her father, from taking over.
On top of everything, Wendy has to prepare for a wedding with Tove, even though Wendy does not love him. She in fact has feelings for both Finn and Loki, and both have a special place in her heart.
But Wendy doesn't have time to think of marriage and love, when a small Trylle town is attacked by Vittra warriors.
Wendy must send reinforcements to the town and to view how bad the damage is. Wendy is also outraged by Trylle law, and the fact that status means more than helping others. But Wendy must find a way to end the Vittra King once and for all, before things go from bad to worse. Can Wendy survive the battle between the Vittra King, and finally claim the love of her life?

I was hooked on this series from the very beginning, in book one. I was sad to see it end, and there were a couple issues that I wasn't too happy with. First off, as usual, I loved reading the chemistry between Wendy, Finn, and Loki. I felt that it was a bit useless that Wendy ended up marrying Tove, but ended in a divorce/annulment. 

And though you can't really write a whole war in one book, I also kind of felt that the battle between Wendy and the Vittra King was a bit short, and lacking. Especially with a powerful king as he was described as, with all the horrible things that he has supposedly done, I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't more of a struggle.

The thing that infuriated me the most was the fact Wendy didn't choose Finn, or that Finn didn't fight for Wendy more than he should have. I liked how Loki was with Wendy, but ultimately, I still kind of wished Finn and Wendy's fate to have been a bit different. Overall, a lot happening in this third installment. A lot of excitement, plot twists, and an interesting conclusion to a must read trilogy.

Would I recommend this book: Yes!
