Follow Friday!
Hey readers! It's another posting of Follow Friday! Hosted by Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read, this week's question is...
Q: This Sunday in the U.S. is Mother's Day. In celebration, what are some of your favorite books with strong mother/child relationships?
A. Hm. This is a tough one. Most novels I read don't have a strong relationships with their parents, or aren't really mentioned at all. I guess the only one I can think of is Wendy and her real mother Elora. Though she didn't have a good relationship with her host mother, and barely knew Elora, they still managed to find a common ground when Wendy begins to take over her duty of claiming the throne. Be sure to leave your link so I can read your answer too. Happy Mothers day, and hope you all have a great weekend! :)
