Short Synopsis: Discover a world filled with sirens, a girl who can transform into a hawk, and being on the hunt for ghosts, and much more, in this anthology, where tales of the paranormal world collide with reality.

My Thoughts: I usually do not read too many anthologies, but each story was an entertaining read, filled with unique intrigue.

This novel, complete with eight different stories, expresses and expands the reader's paranormal world. These stories are filled with love, ghostly encounters and much more. Travel to a world where a siren saves a man's life, or a girl who saves a boy who has been in a coma due to a lightening accident, or explore a world where even in a haunted house, things aren't always what they seem.
With authors like Lani Woodland, Melonie Piper, Rita J Webb, and much more, discover a world where tales of the ordinary become extraordinary, and where a world immersed in paranormal activities leaves you questioning reality.

A definitely interesting read. I liked how even though there were multiple authors, the tone of voice didn't really differ all that much, and it kept a nice and steady flow through out each tale. I liked how the authors wrote stories that seemed really unique and certainly kept my attention.
My favorite story is called Strike, where a girl saves a comatose boy. The way she saves him was really interesting and I don't think I've read a story quite like it. It was nice to read that most tales were also centered in the theme of love. The story I felt most sympathetic towards was Shadows of Promise, where a twin meets the ghost of her dead sister, and together they finally find the culprit responsible for her sister's death.
Each story brings out certain emotions to the reader, and makes the reader think, "what if?" if you're looking for an entertaining read filled with awesome paranormal worlds, be sure to add Transcendent, Tales Of The Paranormal, to your list!

Would I recommend this book: Yes

Rating: I give this book a 4/5.
