Q: Define what characteristics your favorite books share. Do they all have a kickass heroine or is the hot love interest the Alpha Male?
A: I usually tend to go for books with a strong heroine, who can stand up for herself no matter what the situation. I find that if I read a book without a strong male or female lead, it really doesn't sit well with me, and I will tend not to finish them. I used to love reading about alpha males, but have recently found them to be a bit annoying, and disappointing. I love books with high school/private school settings and anything with a bit of paranormal in the mix can't hurt either. I also love reading books where the guy or girl gets to be with the one they've dreamed of, even though the endings are usually a little predictable.
